Hi, I’m Shana.
I’m an anthropologist at heart, endlessly curious about how people connect, create meaning, and build community. That curiosity has shaped my entire career — from executive leadership roles at world-class cultural institutions to my work today as a strategic advisor. For more than 25 years, I’ve guided nonprofits through moments of change and opportunity, helping them find clarity, strengthen their brands, and connect more deeply with the people they serve.
Along the way, I’ve held senior leadership positions at some of the country’s most respected organizations, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association as Chief Marketing Officer, and the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County as Chief Strategy & External Relations Officer. In these capacities, I oversaw large, multi-disciplinary teams and spearheaded initiatives to broaden and diversify audiences, strengthen engagement, and evolve brands — always with a focus on aligning vision, people, and strategy to create lasting impact.
The name Seva Strategies reflects the spirit behind my work. Seva is a Sanskrit word that means “selfless service.” It’s about offering skills, energy, and care in support of others. I bring that spirit of service to every partnership, meeting organizations where they are, listening deeply, and helping them to chart a path forward that’s both ambitious and grounded. My approach blends human-centered insight, strategic clarity, and a lifelong commitment to arts, culture, community, and social impact.
Are you ready to transform vision into lasting impact? I’d be honored to help you get there.
